Security Printing Inks for Digital Applications
Columbia Printing Inks offers security inkjet inks suitable for dispensing through the HP45A cartridge or as a bulk ink for other systems.
These inks are available in the following combinations:
1. Indelible red ink
2. Indelible red ink with fluorescence
3. Invisible fluorescence
4. Fluorescing black ink.
The fluorescing inks are visible by means of a UV light on both sides of the substrate. To obtain the maximum effect, the substrate should have some porosity. The inks can be used on semi-gloss surfaces but the fluorescence will then only be seen on the print side. These inks are of an aqueous nature.
Samples prints on CBS1 paperstock (cheque paper) are available. The sample prints also show the resistance of the printlines to rubbing, water and solvent.

Digital Printing Inks for Mailing Applications
Columbia Printing inks provides inks for use via the HP45A cartridge or as bulk supplies for the AMS, Bryce and Rena Systems printers.
Solvent inks for the Buskro (TM) Atlas printer are supplied in one litre bottles. A flushing/ cleaning solution is also available to allow cleaning of the OEM bladder prior to refilling with Columbia compatible ink.
These products have been developed in conjunction with users and have been life tested over two years. A light wipe with a cloth is all that is necessary on re-using the cartridge after a few months on the shelf.
